Lawn and Garden Tractors- Today I sanded the fenders on both tractors and both hoods then hand rubbed them with rubbing compound , then used the buffer to wheel them then the final finish liquid. I am no bodyshop guy or a painter but they shine good enough fo a couple of old clunky garden tractors, ha,ha. I do have to wait several more days to sand the sides of the hoods because the yellow is not hard enough yet to buff out.
You can see I added a new front grill on Teraks tractor today too.
Komatsu PC-8000-6 Mass Excavator in 1/12th scale – Today I also worked on the second track frame welding it together and attaching all the bogie wheels.
Airplanes / seaplanes- All afternoon today I could see airplanes going over in circles following each other putting on the show for the folks at Otsego Lake. Today was their annual flyin at the Otsego Lake County Park.
I remember 45 years ago fishing on the north end of the lake and we saw a plane land in the water very close to our boat and a few minutes later it took off again and it was very cool. Everytime I see a seeplane I remember that. (:>)
Steak and Ribs on the grill – I grilled us some steak, ribs, potatos, onions and grilled peppers for supper tonight, yum !!
