Half Scale Tractors- Garden tractors have always been a interest to me and now in the last few weeks I have had so much fun working on them. Even the pulling garden tractor for Terak has been very fun. It’s still hard to believe after talking about wanting to get a jd 110 round fender tractor , a half scale 4020 , a half scale jd 720 and a awesome looking pulling tractor that it is really happening . My days of buying Corvettes are over and my days of buying new jd tractors are over but buying garden tractors and turning them into cool looking mini tractors may be my new hobby. There are a couple people who build them and sell them for over $10,000.00 each . Most people who do build these mini tractors do not sell them . They usually build one or sometimes two but they keep them to display at tractor shows. Maybe if i stop building toys I could start building mini tractors and selling them instead. (:>) .
JD tractor seat- Todays picture shows me sanding on the seat after welding it up to look a similar shape to the one on the real jd 720.
JD rear axle – Also todays picture shows me completing the first axle center to give it a more realistic look. It took over 50 parts to make the axle insert on one side but it really looks nice.
