This picture shows the shape of the frame and the flatbed with the dovetail and the rear tube . You can see the hooks, lights , mudflaps in place and the rear swivel hitch. Below the frame you can see the left side fuel tanks and the ladder . The top railings are also in place in this picture. The picture below this one shows the front angle. Next on this project I will start designing the cab .
Jason Hasert and the Hopkinsville, Kentucky visit to the Garnettes Farm Video. We did not get it quite done.
SNOWY MORNING IN GAYLORD- We got a couple inches of snow the last couple mornings and this morning it has been snowing steady and we got about 3 more inches. So it looks like I will go get the tractor after lunch and do some plowing.
SNOWMOBILING IN GAYLORD- I will also get the Ski-Doo out and go for a ride for the fifth day in a row. This will be my ninth day of riding it this winter. So I am getting a little enjoyment out of it after all.
OFF ROAD TIRES FROM GERMANY ARRIVED – I ordered 24 tires like the ones on this truck model at the Indy show in Aug. Yesterday the UPS driver delivered 12 of them. I guess the other 12 will arrive some other week. So now I will have ten tires for the Terex Titan Haul Truck that is on my list of projects to build this winter. They are very cool looking tires. I also used this style tire on the last LeTourneau L-1800 Loader model I built. I plan to also build a Michigan 675 Loader with them when I get more of them.
I put in a new order yesterday for 24 more of them. Tires are very hard to get as you can tell. It has taken almost 6 months to get these 12 tires and rims.
