Today’s picture shows the roughed in boom, stick , clam bucket and six hydraulic cylinders roughed in. The video shows me moving it and attaching a couple of the hydraulic cylinders.
I am now working on the second upright structure on the revolving house.
AIRPORT COMPUTERS CRASH AND SO DOES MY WEBPAGE !!- If it wasn’t bad enough all the airport traffic was disrupted yesterday , the Algoma steel plant at the Soo lost power and worse yet, DonCampbellmodels.com website was not working (:<) !!! Things couldn’t get much worse , ha,ha.
BANNING HANGING CLOTHES ON THE CLOTHESLINE ???- Going green is a big joke, The auto makers continue to push gas guzzlers, every one is against wind generators in their back yards and now on the news tonight I see some communities are banning hanging clothes on the clothesline because it looks trashy in the neighborhood. Deb loves the smell of clothes on the line and we have a privacy fence so she will continue to save energy not using the dryer. (:>).
GOOGLE YOUR NAME – I have googled my name a few times to see how many times it comes up. I do doncampbellmodels and doncambellmodels.com and don campbell . It’s surprising some of the old pictures it brings up . It is fun to do once in a while. Also typing in Silver Spade, or Letourneau L-2350 Loaders or Euclid Trucks , etc. or a dozen or two of the models I have built over the years will also bring up a few pictures of my projects. That is pretty fun to do .
Hey Deb !, What’s for Supper ??- Deb made a homeade California pizza along with some Morel Mushrooms , yummy !!
Deb has cooled it for a while on the desserts as it was making our morning jogging a little tough, ha,ha.
RUNNERS WORLD – Today was my 66th day of running since I began 73 days ago. Deb and I ran a few extra blocks this morning together and that was fun. I always leave early and we plan it to meet at a certain corner every morning and run and walk back together. Deb is my best friend and it is very cool we are doing this together.
GROWING OLD TOGETHER- Some neighbors we know just split up after 35 years of marriage. They are our age and they just could not stand each other anymore. We think it would be very sad to have to grow old alone because of a divorce after all those years of marriage. Surprisingly more and more it isn’t even the men , it’s the women leaving good men. The man isn’t even doing anything wrong.
The women just want their freedom so hopefully it works out for the best. I’m being very careful now not to track in mud in the house or leave the toilet seat up ??? LOL
