Hitachi ex-8000 boom and bucket mounted- Todays picture shows the next progress on the Hitachi Shovel. This is the first picture after mounting the boom to the main center frame along with the stick and bucket. Now it is starting to look like a good sized model. Next I will work on the hydrualic lines , more front lower frame details , lights, and the cab interior. By Monday morning I should get going on the track frames. I am very pleased how it is starting to look.
TWELVE INCHED OF SNOW !!- Winter has finally arrived in Northern Michigan . We have been getting our first lake effect snow and they are saying some areas will get 12 inches by Sat. morning.
Maybe I will be doing a little snowmobiling this weekend, ha,ha.
Hey Deb !! I hope we aren’t having turkey again for supper ?? But guess what ? WE ARE !! (:>). Deb and I decided that no matter how much turkey and stuffing is left now a week after Thanksgiving , we agree it’s time to get rid of the rest of it, ha,ha. So no more turkey until next Thanksgiving (:>).
RUNNING ON THE TREADMILL – With more snowy slippery roads this morning we did our second 5K on the treadmill. Actually the treadmill is not as hard on our knees as the hard pavement.
