JD 59 inch snowblower chute/rotator cylinder assembly- Today I worked on the 59 inch blower and removed the chute and removed the blower fan. I tried removing the gear box but it would not budge. Then I turned the blower housing around and built a three point hitch assembly on the front of it. So now my snowblower is going to be a pull type box scraper. This was the blower that was free and I did not want to put any money into it. I need weight on the rear wheels of the half scale 4020 with the 5.5 foot front blade on it. I will be able to back up to the garage door and pull the snow out and then push it with the front blade or blow it with the jd 455 . I should get it done tomorrow .
Thanksgiving Turkeys- We only buy one Butterball fresh turkey each year. The last couple days we checked the grocery stores and their fresh turkeys were all half froze. I mean FROZE solid !! They are labeled FRESH but they have definately been frozen. So we opted not to buy a turkey knowing they were charging more saying they were fresh . So were having ham (:>)
