Simplicity Landlord – Today I am in the shop working on Terak’s engine for the first time. I got the carb off and soaking it . I also sprayed the cables last night and got them freed up and working smooth again. Terak’s tractor started out as Simplicity Landlord lawn tractor . I picked it up for $100.00 about one year ago. So it will be interesting to see how hard it will be to get it running .
JD 110 start up – I got some gasoline this morning so I will try firing up the jd 110 for the first time this afternoon. I bought it about a year ago too . The wiring was missing and the fellow i bought it from never had it running . I took it to get carb work and it runs great the mechanic said. Now we’ll see if I got the 15 or so wires all figured out right or not, ha,ha.
Bitter COLD – We got a couple more inches of snow again last night and the Steiner did not want to go out. I turned the key and nothing at all happened. The safety switch must have been sticking not letting any power go to anything. After jumping it it still did nothing until I kept wiggling the lever. I could hear the switch clicking so it must have been the bitter cold . I can’t complain , once it started it did a great job of plowing again. More snow for tonight and tomorrow.
JD 455 diesel 47 inch snowblower- I pulled the 455 out of the shop and in the front garage in position for a big storm (:>)
