John Deere 844 model – Todays picture shows Tim’s old 844 sitting at the sight of his new home construction. The tile machine spit out one rock in the field and I fired up the loader and scooped it up . I have always enjoyed being around equipment . The loader was purchased from the Bay City Sugar Plant and it had a bad engine and the pins and cylinders were well wore out.
Tim bought it for a very good price and made it a winter project. A newer engine, new pins and rebuilding the steering cylinders and it is a great old beast of a machine to have around. 25 loads of black dirt will be needed around the new house and hopefully I will get to load a few with the JD and haul a few loads with one of the big 4×4 jd tractors pulling the offroad dumptrailer. (:>) Now that my idea of a fun afternoon, ha,ha.
Folks health – My dad continues to get weaker in the last month . We took him to the cider mill and to the A&W last week and we had another campfire for him. He still enjoys setting by the campfire with us . We have had about 15 campfires with him this summer and made some fun last memories with him. My mom sure has enjoyed us coming down to help her this summer and we have made a lot of memories with her too. Were all getting older and our bodies are all wearing out. I am back trying to lose weight again for the 95th time in my life, ha,ha. And I am back to running again and today was day five. It takes me two months to get the bloatedness worked off if I stay on it. Everyone knows how to lose weight but it is so boring and that is the real problem.
St. Ignace Truck Show – Deb and I are heading up to the Truck show for a fun afternoon .
