Deb and I went down to the farm for a few days to spend more time with my folks . Lucky for me Tim Bissell who lives across the road was having the tile man come yesterday .
It has been a lot of years since I spent a day on the farm around machinery. I figured that big old Bron 550 Machine would pull that tile from the ditchbank across the field with no problem. It probably would have if it hadn’t let loose with a downpour for about a half hour just as they were ready to go. The owner of the machine did the first pull alone before it rained and it pulled real hard . The tracks did a lot of spinning the first 60 feet on the ditchbank and then it took off with no problem. After the rain the owner of the machine said it is going to be too slippery on the 60 foot of grass and requested a 4×4 tractor to help get going . Off we went to get it and the video shows how hard it pulled even with the big jd hooked on.
What a fun day and thanks Tim for letting me drive all your toys (:>) Can’t wait to come back and take videos in the beets , beans and corn this fall.
