Cat and John Deere – Today we are downstate at my folks on the farm. We stopped at the 10,,000 head milking operation 3 miles from my folks to watch two John Deeres and one Cat pushing silage. I talked to the owner and he said the Cat just returned three days ago from the shop with transmission issues. He said the Cat is built much heavier duty but the John Deere has not been in the shop yet and it has similar hours of work.
