John Deere Tractor Cab- Todays picture is from the past showing one of my many steel fabricating projects. I had recently bought this brand new John Deere 1050 4 x 4 tractor and I wanted a nice cab for it but no one built a nice looking factory cab one for them at this time.
So i decided to build my own and I was a little nervous because I had seen homeade cabs people had made before and most of them looked pretty crude looking. I wanted to make a nice looking homeade cab for winter use. This picture shows the frame work all roughed in and the doors hung but no windows yet. It was a very fun project to build.
P&H 5700 Mining Shovel Progress- I have the bucket roughed in except for the teeth and the bottom . I am now working on the rear door/gate. I am pleased so far how just the bucket is looking.
