Komatsu pc-8000-6- I am making great progress on the tracks the last two days . I got the track pads all cut out , bent the front and back sides and am working on the end of the track taper. I am going to work everyday from now on in the shop until the model is finished. I got to make up for the very hot dry summer and it was just too hot in the workshop to be grinding and welding. I’m guesstimating 7 more days of working all day in the shop and the parts could be all built .
Mining News- I saw on the news that the Coal Mining Industry is struggling . It’s amazing we can bring oil from around the world at outragous costs but can’t increase jobs and less dependence on foreign oil and increase coal mining in this country. Detroit continues to put out gas guzzlers and no mention from our government to cut back on our driving to conserve oil. The rich own our government and the rich make millions from Americans wasting gas. The rich make the least on coal so they let it continue to shut down.
Thousands more jobs left the U.S. this year for overseas but they forget to mention that on the news.
The good news is God gave us one more day to enjoy !! so call in sick those few of you that have a job and have a fun Sat. , ha,ha.
