Upcoming Project- I have enjoyed building the large mining shovels second best of all my projects. Partly because I love the larger size of them being built in 1/12th scale. I am now gathering info on the Komatsu PC-8000 Mining Shovel and will get going on it in Nov. Another week i will get started on the 1/4 scale Mack R Series with a lowboy.
I am currently working everyday on a list of outdoor projects and changing oil in the tractors and vehicles , winterizing the motorhome , painting , general outside repairs , etc.
Another week after this week and I will be back to the workshop . Today I changed the oil in the truck , sealcoated the driveway and painted the Erskine snowblower and hand washed my truck. Each day my list gets a little shorter but it is a nice break from model shopping . I have a couple days of welding projects on the snow blade and wing skids and cracks in the chute area of the snowblower that needed welding.
Greenbay Packers and Detroit Lions have a lot in common ? They are both near the great lakes, ha,ha. Happy for the Lions but have too many scars of too many letdowns as a child and too many nightmares of the Lions almost winning and then always losing in the last few minutes, ha,ha. Win or lose the Packers have been our team for over 15 years especially because we live closer to Green Bay than Detroit.
