Here is another picture Larry sent me looking from the front hood back to the cab and rollbar. I got the cab walls and the roof tack welded together with just one spot weld on each wall. That way I can see how it will look standing back from it and if needs changing I can change things. After lunch I will start cutting out the fender support brackets and work my way up to the rollbar and the 8 spotlights mounted to the roll bar. Also the fire extinquisher that mounts to the side of the ROPS.
FIFTY DEGREES FOR THE THIRD DAY- We are getting a third day of summer temperatures. It seems SO NICE to have it feel like summer. We have a LOT of snow everywhere. My whole front yard is five foot snowbanks and no sign of grass even in the backyard. But i got all the ice chopped on the edge of the driveway and the back deck. Just having the driveway dry seems like early summer, ha,ha.
I went down this morning to the shed and pulled the tractor out in the sun and washed it up. I also squeegy’d the floor from the melting water off the tractor.
I also want to pull the truck snowplow out and let the sun melt all the ice under it .
The weatherman is saying colder air and a few inches of snow possible for Wed. night.
We talked to Nicole last night and told her about switching the Texas trip and the D.C. trip. So it is all settled to go to D.C. first. and go to Texas about a month later.
SNOWMOBILE TRAIL REPORT- I drove by the trail this morning and it didn’t look too bad in the spots I could see. But I’m sure it is a muddy mess on most of the trails.
TEREX TITAN- Two more weeks the Super Dozer should be done. After that model , then I will build the monster truck known as the TEREX TITAN. I will use 10 of the offroad tires like I used on the Beauty and the Beast truck. It too, will be a fun model to build. I love the looks of that truck too.
