Komatsu cab parts- Todays picture shows me holding the cab and the last parts to go on the model this afternoon. I am putting the cab windows in and detailing the interior now. Tomorrow I should get the decals and it will be done. Then I will bolt the model down to the board and make some handles to lift it for transporting it to join nearly 40 other of my one of a kind models in the future Don Campbell Museum. If all goes well the last three big models will be heading to Va.
Half Scale Farm Tractors – Next week the model building will be done and I will get back to working on the half scale John Deere Tractors . I would have kept building models but with this economy it just wasn’t working out .
Now at the age of 60 I get to spend the next 6 months or year doing what I have only dreamed of doing for the last 15 years. It will actually be like building models but they will be models I can actually drive with real engines. I want to build cool attachments to go on them like building big models . And who knows I may be able to sell them . I believe God closes one door and opens another we just have to look for it.
60 is the new 70 – I read a article from the Medical community the other day saying the average baby boomer is actually 10 years older than their real age. Obesity has taken over 3/4 of Americans and getting worse everyday.
If your active , eat healthy your the exception and your lucky.
I’m grateful for this one more day God has given me .
