Saginaw Bay Southern Railway – GP-40 Locomotive being constructed . Today you can see I am cutting and welding the vertical frame work for the center section. Once the frame work is roughed in I will move under the frame and start the design for the center fuel tank and the trucks and steel wheel design.
I am convinced the frame would easily support a small diesel engine and pumps and tanks should it ever be converted to a working mini locomotive. I look forward to next weekend to see it as it takes shape. Even I don’t know how it will look having never made one before.
Football – I have a tv in my workshop and I enjoy listening and occasionally watch a little football. (:>)
