LIEBHERR R9800 SANDING PROCESS- Todays picture shows another small step in the building process as I work grinding, sanding and filling the welds on the boom and the support frame.
Next I will work on the car body that holds the track frames and the upper structures all together that everything pivots on. It looks very promising that the model will be all roughed in by next weekend and be ready for final sanding .
COLD AND RAINY SEASON IN GAYLORD – We got another cold , rainy day in Gaylord but things are greening up nice. Deb and I went for a ride and went by the new Gaylord Meijers Store . The parking lot was PACKED FULL !! People were parking all over in the grass and even out back of the store. Today begins their first official day of their Grand Opening.
SO MANY THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT – It only takes about 10 minutes of watching the news and it sure makes you wonder if you will survive another week , ha,ha.
I’m thinking rather than getting hooked on anti-depresent drugs, it is better to just pull the plug on the TV, ha,ha.
I remember most of my life I was always worrying about everything and I see it was all for nothing ! It made no difference accept to make me older sooner.
It reminds me of a gal named Nicole who lives in D.C. and was working near the Pentagon on 911 . After hearing a plane crashed into the Pentagon and hearing it was on fire, we tried calling her and finally got through to talk to her to see she was safe. .
She was shook up and we could hear it in her voice on the phone as she saw in the distance the smoke rising from the Pentagon Building , but she reassurred Deb and I that , the terrorists don’t decide when we die , God does ?
And I have always thought of that since that day and it makes a lot of sense if you are a Christian. So these days I’m not too worried about those things knowing God already has each of our names on his list for our last day .
Yes , some will pass away in the war, some will be in a plane crash, and some will be at home while we sleep. But no amount of me worrying will change God’s plan .
I stand steadfast in my belief in God even in these rough times we are living in. Should we lose everything in the years ahead, I will never stop being a believer. This is no time to question God, but more reason to get closer to God.
