Liebherr R9800 Excavator Boom- Todays picture shows me in the shop this morning holding up the first picture of the first side of the boom , bucket and stick. It also shows the first three hand built cylinders I just finished making. Now I will get started on the exact same parts for the second side . I am really enjoying building this already.
Berliet oilfield truck – I have the cab details done and mounted to the truck frame. The engine , radiator, front bumper are all bolted on . Next I have to detail the winch and mount it and mount the overhead rack .
Soo Locks Opened – The first frieghter through the Soo Locks made it through the ice just fine. One of the locks will remain closed for one more month for added repairs.
Diet Tip – Deb and I have tried losing weight for several years , we haven’t found a good system yet. But I got a E-mail from Gerry in Lansing today and he has lost 60 lbs. He said what worked for him is he has doubled the stress in his life as his trucking business has stopped and no hope for the future.
So I am going to talk to Deb today about doubling or tripling the stress in our lives? Maybe have Deb get a couple more newborn babies to watch along with her new baby she is just getting used too. (:>).
American Idol – Deb and I have our favorites picked , but we think Paula and Simon should not sit next to each other anymore ? Last night Simon drew a mustache on Paula? ha,ha. And Paula said she had something for Simon under her dress ? Not sure how that adds to the integrity of the show, ha,ha.
