Liebherr R9800 – Newport News , Va. is on eof several machinery plants the Liebherr Co. has around the world. When we were on vacation at Va. Beach a couple years ago on vacation, we were only a few miles from the Newport News Plant. If we go there again , we will be sure to drive by . I have been told they do not allow tours.
Todays picture shows several of the Liebherr Mining Shovel parts painted grey. Next I will get the white paint out and start spraying those parts. I am getting very excited to see it all assembled and detailed.
I get several E-mails a month asking my model prices. My largest model was the Silver Spade and it sold for $20,000.00
The next largest models sell for $6,000.00 ea. The smallest loaders and scrapers sell for $2,000.00 ea. Then the prices go up from there on the trucks and medium sized models. I only build one of each model so each collector gets a one of a kind, all steel , welded and bolted detailed model.
Fifty persent deposit is required in advance . Completion dates are less than 12 months.

GAYLORD MOREL MUSHROOMS- This shouls be the weekend the army of mushrrom pickers arrive in the woods and start to reap the harvest, ha,ha.
