Liebherr R9800 Mining Mass Excavator being built by Don Campbell in 1/12th scale. First two hydraulic cylinders built.

Mining Equipment – Todays picture shows the first two hydraulic cylinders now built. I have also cut out the first piece for the stick. You can see some of the bucket linkages and how they will eventually be connected. That is a full sized pair of pliers so you can get a little idea of the smallest part of the model. Next I will start building the next two top cylinders and cut out the first boom section.
Dancing with the stars – Deb and I watch American Idol and Dancing with the stars and enjoy them. We both have our favorites and Deb was worried last night her favorite male dancer might be getting voted out. Deb got quite a reaction when he did the worm dance , lol Evidently America loved it too, because he got voted through to next week so Deb was happy (:>).
SPRING BREAK – Seems like half of Gaylord is heading south for spring break but Deb and I don’t go to D.C. yet. We been caught in a few early April snowstorms . In fact, just last year we woke up in Sandusky, Ohio at the motel and the car was snow covered and the roads were very slippery. So then we think Michigan may have snowy, slippery roads too. This year we are waiting a little later.
WEEKEND SNOWSTORM – The weatherman is saying we could get a snowstorm this weekend. one quarter of my front yard has now melted and I can see the grass. The snow hill is now only four feet high and 30 feet long. Yippee !
Have a Great Wed. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
