Liebherr R9800 Track Parts Started today for Don Campbell’s 100 lb model., originally uploaded by Don Campbell Models.
Liebherr Tracks – Todays picture shows the whole machine but today I am designing and cutting out the first parts for the track frame assemblies that support the whole monster machine . Each side has 9 bogie wheel assemblies. I am building them now. One more week it could be mounted on the tracks.
Gaylord Meijers Store Countdown – One week from tomorrow the doors at the brand new Gaylord Meijers Store will officially open.
When we lived in Alma we used to drive to Lansing a lot to shop and we always went to the Meijers Stores . Then when Nicole was going to MIchigan State University , we went to Meijers with her several times. And Bill would drive up every Saturday from Taylor University and they actually ate at Meijers a lot. ha,ha. to save money .
Meijers always had nice a nice looking produce department and a nice looking meat department . Some of you know I worked in the grocery business for 20 years. Most of those years in the meat department and the last few years as a Meat Manager. So it is still fun for me to see nice looking grocery stores with shelves looking nice.
It will seem great to have our own Meijers in Gaylord. There has been rumors in Gaylord for over 20 years that Meijers was going to build a store in Gaylord. Finally it came true !! (:>).
Sixty Degrees- We might get a 60 degree day this week , that could melt more snow piles. We still have a lot of big piles of snow in the parking lots all over town.
CORVETTE – We have already enjoyed the Vette now for a week taking it to Traverse City and Petosky and driving it everyday since we got it out of storage . Normally we wait til May 1st when the snow is all melted.
But this year I figured as long as the roads were dry, we might as well be enjoying it sooner. I drive it pretty easy and actually it gets great gas mileage.
DEB’S FIRST DAY BACK TO WORK- Surprisingly the kids have been very good today their first day back at the daycare. Deb said they were all very happy to see her this morning , even the little baby was all smiles.
