Liebherr Mining Excavator Progress- Todays picture shows the top of the model with the sheet metal cut out and in place. You can also see several of the top safety railings now in place. Now I am doing the design for the cab and will begin cutting out the first cab parts today.
SNOWSTORM MISSED GAYLORD !!- I never thought I would be glad to see todays snowstorm hit downstate instead of Northern Michigan. But I am sick of the salty, sloppy roads. Sounds like we will get a couple inches tomorrow though.
DEB’S VACATION- Here it is noon and I am busy doing laundry, making beds, scrubbing the toilet , and cooking lunch while Deb is enjoying her first day of vacation just relaxing on the couch and having me wait on her, (:>).
I probably won’t get a lot done this week on the toy building as I will be devoting most of the daylight hours pleasing Deb, LOL
HOMEADE RAISED CRUST PIZZA – Deb did get a little burst of energy this morning I guess,? because there are two handbuilt deluxe pizzas cooking in the oven, umm. (:>).
MAPLE SURYUP – It has been so cold I don’t think the sap is running very well so far this spring. We have had very few warm days and it freezes hard every night.
SNOWMOBILE SEASON IS OVER – I did see a few snowmobile tracks in the fresh snow we got Friday but for the most part, the 2009 snowmobile season in the Gaylord area is over. I did not ride my sled much this winter , but it isn’t worth anything to try to sell it either. So the little enjoyment I do get is still fun for me.
CORVETTE THIS WEEK – It looks like the rest of this week could be cold but no snow after tomorrows snow . So I think we will call the insurance company and put the Vette back on the road later this week. It has been parked since Nov.
OH, I got to GO !, I hear Deb yelling in the other room she wants a banana split !! And I know very well, not to keep her waiting on her vacation , ha,ha,ha,.
