LIKE TWO SHIPS THAT PASS IN THE NIGHT VIDEO-MY FATHER AND ME.

MY FATHER AND ME VIDEO- As many of you know my dad left our family when I was just 9 years old.
So my childhood was without a father figure. I saw him a few times over the next several years , but then he drifted away and now I have not seen him in over 27 years.
I know this happens to a lot of families and I understand how it can happen. I think Today that my love of the big boats must go back to when he was still home. He loved boats and the water, and he had several of them in the short time I knew him. So this video clip kinda makes me think of my long ago dad in my life and how we were like two ships passing in the night.
I am a much better dad because of my childhood and I used it in a positive way.
I am always telling Nicole how proud I am of her and how much I love her.
Be sure to tell your kids once in a while that you love them. My dad never told me that , but I guarantee if you do , they will remember it the rest of their lives.
