Worlds largest Cat Dozer Model- Todays picture shows me building the front blade lifting cylinders and the top light frames. . You can also see the hydraulic lines are partially completed. Now I am excited about this 1/3rd scale dozer model. Finally it is starting to look like a Big old Cat Dozer !! I been thinking about building larger models since the day i built my first one. Even though I have built several other models that are the worlds largest static models , this one is the worlds largest Cat D-11R all steel , Static Model !! If i am wrong, let me know as i would love to see a larger static Cat D-11R model made of steel. I got to give a lot of credit to the little Lincoln wire welders I have used for the last fifteen years. Also the Lincoln Plasma cutter , these products are my best buys over the years. I don’t think the Lincoln Welder people figured anyone would be building models with thousands of welds with a little Weldpak 100 with fluxcored .030 wire. I love my Lincoln Welders and I could not survive without my Lincoln Plasma cutter.
Cold and rainy in Gaylord – Not good camping weather and a cold north wind besides and cold rain. Going to be a short summer , ha,ha.
Next I will work on the steel hydraulic lines that run down from the top of the cylinders .
