Mack Trucks 1/4 scale – Well my one of a kind 1/4 scale Mack Truck Model shows todays progress as I check out the fit for the hood on the frame . You can also see the square fuel tank the fender mounted lights and I am working on the front bumper. I am very pleased so far with the progress on the old Mack. Nothing is built yet for the left side as i just wanted to work on the right side to get a idea of how things were going to look. So Far So GOOD.
Gaylord Snow – We got about 3 inches of snow this morning and I got the JD out and tried out the new cutting edge. It did a lot of screeching on that wet pavement under the snow. I was careful not to dig up the lawn as it is muddy and very soft underneath. In fact I did a little hand shoveling and I actually dug up some dirt with the shovel, ha,ha.
The city plows were out plowing and salting the roads. I do not like salt on the roads . Most days the roads dry off by suppertime and we usually wait til then to run errands. Any salt on the vehicles we can avoid we do.
Deer Hunting – A couple fatalities so far that is very sad.
Fender Benders- Lots of accident reports today as people just won’t slow down on the slippery roads.
