Great Lakes Freighters- Todays picture shows me driving our motorhome across the Mackinaw Bridge heading to the campground up on the Canadian Border. We got lucky and saw a 1000 footer ship passing just as we reached the center of the bridge. So Deb snapped a few pictures. 40 years we been camping up at the Soo . A lifetime of fun memories for us.
Kentucky Fried Chicken going out of business???- A couple weeks ago we saw that the KFC in Mt. Pleasant closed it’s doors. Today at the Soo we see that their KFC is also closed up. We never saw any KFC’s closed . We thought everyone loved that greasy chicken like we do. (:>)
Forest Fire – We could smell smoke last night at our campsight from the forest fires burning in the U.P. of Michigan.
