Monster Trucks- I was looking aback at photos and saw this one , this fellow lives two miles from our farm and he had it by the road for sale.
I always loved big tires on anything and I have always loved monster trucks. He had a very reasonable price on it and we came back later to test drive it. Deb took several photos and a video of course , ha,ha. As we drove away Deb and I talked about it and Deb gave me the ok to buy it . I told her i better sleep on it and decide in a few days.
I sure did come close to buying it buy I did not. A few weeks ago as I was riding with Tim on the combine this same fellow came up to me in the field and introduced himself and reminded me about his monster truck. I found out he actually works part time for Tim driving tractors. He told me he now had a S-10 monster truck that used racing fuel and it was for sale . We did drive by and see it later but it was too souped up for me. (:>)
I looked at four 60″ tall x 24″ wide tires along side the road a few weeks ago . They would make a awesome mini monster truck . I’ll have to drive by there again and see if they are still for sale.
Traverse City- Deb and I headed over to Traverse City this morning and finished our shopping and had lunch over there.
More winter weather for tomorrow so we took advantage of the dry roads today.
JD 9630 progress – I finally got the windows all in !!
Letourneau dozer progress- I also got the windows put in the cab on it !!
Waldon Loader Project- I am going to design a new foot pedal assembly for my little loader , it has a hand throttle and I always wanted a foot throttle so I could floor it while loading the bucket and then let up on it at the right moment. The hand throttle is just not handy.
