Hobby Shops – Toy trains , railyards- Todays picture shows me next to the rear section of the GP-40 toy train . Two more days I will begin the center section of frame construction that will be around 6 feet long . Once the three sections are assembled it will be a total of 15 feet long. I’m the first to admit it is far from perfect . My tools are basic and my workshop is very small. And I am no engineer but when i get this train done I guess I could be a engineer , ha,ha.
A VERY SPECIAL DAY TODAY – Today is very special one reason because i remembered it at all, ha,ha. It is Deb and I 38 year Anniversary. ! If you are a facebook friend you see other pics on their of us from our dating days. I continue to praise Deb for the awesome wife and mom she has been over the years . She definitely turned out the best kid, best mom , best wife and raised the best daughter in her whole family ? I think I can say that without any negative feedback, ha,ha. But seriously it is really true. It is not easy being the best in the family but she really is that special (:>) And everyone in her family I think will agree !! Well, maybe not everyone , ha,ha. 38 years of marriage we definitely proved them wrong and showed them this marriage did work. And we will continue to have a great marriage for years to come.
I’d like to get into all the greatness about me too but I haven’t got the time, ha,ha.
I am taking the day off from train building to go have fun with Deb . We still laugh and joke and enjoy each other like we did 38 years. We have always been 100% honest with each other . We think those two things made our life together great. Not to mention that perfect daughter of ours now in the process of having a son and her showing us she will also be perfect as a mother and wife (:>)
In other words in these very uncertain times we still manage to enjoy each day together.

I often get e-mails from people for the very first time who say they have followed my blog for over 5 years since it first started. That is pretty cool !!
