Wide open spaces- Todays picture is from a couple days ago as i was mowing the lawn for my folks down in Central Michigan on the farm.
Sometimes when I am mowing my mind drifts back 50 years ago and I have little glimses in my mind of mowing as a boy on the old jd 110 round fender mower. Deb and I have been helping my folks much more this summer as they are really slowing down as they get older. We already have 40 projects done on my moms to-do list so she is so happy about that. She was getting a little down seeing the old farm looking so rough . Thanks to Deb and I now she is back to her old self knowing this summer we will drive down to help them out a lot.
There is 11,000 cows being milked within three miles of the farm and when the wind is blowing just right you can sure smell that down on the farm country smell, ha,ha.
JD half scale Tractor Progress- Today I am doing my own yard work , washing the vehicles , planting stuff but I should get the patterns made to take to the decal people for the side of the hood and the side of the cab.
