JB’s Roadhouse BarbeCue – Here is a picture of Deb and I on a recent vacation pulling into the drive-up window of this old fashioned, real Barbe-cue shack called JB’s Bar-B-Q . And it really was Real smoked ribs and chicken !! umm Good !! Talk about a real smoke flavor all the eay through the ribs , it was the Best Bar-B-Q I have had in years. If your ever in Somerset , Pa., head north a mile near the John Deere Dealer and grab some excellent Bar-B-Q’d Ribs. (:>).
Applebees , Big Buck , or Ruby Tues. in Gaylord just don’t come close to this old fashioned real slow, real smoked barbecue, umm .
Liebherr R9800 – I got the primed parts all sanded and am starting to paint the first grey parts.
O&K RH-400 front view done- I now have the front view of the RH-400 scaled up to 1/12th scale. Tomorrow I will post that picture . Tonight I will begin scaling up the five foot long side view.
MOREL MUSHROOMS – Our mushroom picking buddy thinks this weekend the little tasty morsels should be popping up like crazy in Otsego County. Usually every year on my Birthday , Deb wraps up a couple quarts of fresh picked Morels for a Birthday Present, UMM !!
Highland Festival , Alma , Michigan – Memorial Weekend has different memories for Deb and I . For several years I worked in Mt.Pleasant , Michigan at the Krogers Supermarket. So Deb and her friend Barb would take Nicole in the stroller on Sat. to watch the Highland Festival Parade in Alma. Then all weekend the Highland Festival events would take place at Alma College. I did make it a couple times and it was great fun.
This year we might make it back to the parade for the first time in 25 years. I’m sure it will bring back memories of long ago when Nicole was very young. Deb’s friend Barb passed away a while back and she is missed by a lot of people.
