Otsego County Fair- Todays picture shows Deb and I at the Gaylord Truck and Tractor Pull last night . The metal bleachers were cold but things were heating up on the track . It has been a few years since I sat in the bleachers with Deb watching a tractor pull. Years ago we would travel to the Ionia Fair and I loved tractor pulls. Deb was always a good sport and sat beside me for several hours with no complaints. Now days she has her new iphone4 so she was very busy with that. During slow moments I even enjoyed my iphone too.
With some areas hitting 40 degrees this morning it really felt like fall as we walked our 3 mile morning walk.
Summer is really winding down now with the big Labor Day Weekend approaching fast. So that means Deb and I still got a few more fun times ahead in the next week or so.
Cat 657E – I am still cutting out parts for the cushion hitch and the neck . Now all the parts horizontally side to side and up and down vertically. I still am very excited about this model. The ship model is sitting on the other bench waitiing for more attention as i am getting totally absorbed into the large scraper. The ship is 90% done with mostly fine work on many rear railings to be built.
