Otsego County Snowplows , Don Campbell gets three of his snowplows ready today.

Otsego County Snowplows- Todays picture shows me standing next to three of my four snowplows. The weatherman continues to talk about snow more and more. Ususally around Halloween we get a few inches on the ground for the first time. Last year we got around 200 inches of snowfall total. Although I have four snowblades they are pretty slow when the heavy snow starts to pile up. It’s the 84″ Erskine Snowblower on the back of the John Deere that has moved the most snow over the years. It is fun to push snow with a plow , but when things get piled up and no room to push more snow, the blower can throw it behind fences, over retaining walls , into the neighbors yards , etc, ha,ha,ha.
Actually throwing snow on someone elses property without their permission is strongly frowned on. The only reason I can get away with it in my neighbors yard is because I have plowed his driveway for the last 18 years. I do a lot of little extra free plowing for him around his wood pile and around the side of his house .
HEY DEB !! WHAT’S FOR SUPPER ?- Deb made a fresh pot of delicious chili for lunch and for supper we got Chicken and mushroom stir fry. yum Also Deb is making some healthy oatmeal and walnut and cherry cookies this afternoon, yum !
RUNNERS WORLD – Today I completed my 40th 5K morning run in the last 45 days. My goal is to run 50 5K’s before the snow flies and things get slippery. I am feeling great with no aches or pains and Deb ran with me yesterday for the first time since race day in D.C. She has been running on the treadmill every morning slowly working back up to 5K again. I am very proud of her !!
DEB’S BIRTHDAY – Thanks everyone for all the nice Happy Birthdays to Deb yesterday , that made Deb’s Birthday even nicer !
Rimpull Coal Hauler – I got all the parts cut and welded on the bottom doors. Now I will start working on the front hitch support brackets on both trailers.
Have a Great Wed. !!!!!!!
