P&H 5700 Mining Shovel – Todays picture shows the side panels and the rear panels now welded to the main revolving frame You can see the seams still need sanding . Also this picture shows the first progress picture of the crawler tracks . I still have more work on them and will go back to them later. Next I will get going on the top deck and get it braced up for the construction of the gantry that will support the cables that hook to the boom.
If all goes well next weekend I will post the next progress picture of the gantry mounted on top.
