Central Michigan – Deb and I spent a day downstate with my folks and we drove around looking at the crops . Some areas the corn looked excellent but other areas it looked very dry. Are residents are upset as 40 families wells have dried up blaming farmers irrigation systems . I remember 40 years ago a couple of our neighbors lost their water when the nearby farmer put in a new irrigation system. The homeowners took the farmer to court but nothing was ever done.
Today is the big travel day for thousands of campers heading back south from Northern Michigan so were staying off the roads for sure.
Yesterday we heard lots of sirens and I’m sure today we’ll here even more .
