The sanding and priming process is completed and the fine sanding of the primer is done . Todays picture shows 75% of the painted parts. I am painting the rest of the parts this evening.
Once the parts are painted, they will be set aside for a few days to let the paint dry completely. The paint dries fast but to handle it I like to wait a few days . I will also start cutting the tire treads in the next few days . Tomorrow I am excited to cut the very first piece of the Chessie GP-40 Cab .
