I was very happy yesterday when the U.P.S. driver backed into our driveway. I was pretty sure he would have my offroad tires. It was a long wait and it was a little costly, but well worth it . Now i can officially plan several more cool models using these tires. The Terex Titan Truck will take ten of these , so there goes one stack of these tires. But most of the future projects I have in mind will only use 4 or 6 of them at a time. I’m sorry , but I do not want to sell any of them, as they will be used up fast enough.
BIG LOSER – Well, today was our first weigh day on our
(eating healthy ) plan. We don’t call it a diet because we don’t eat diet food. We eat regular food in small portions. As a rule people eat three times what they should eat at each meal. Just eating one portion of what we really like is fine. But to get the extra weight off, it takes extra exercise and less calories. Today Deb lost 3.5 lbs. and I lost 4 lbs. So DEB SAID , I AM THE BIG LOSER IN THE FAMILY THIS WEEK, ha,ha.
We are very happy with our first weeks progress. Next week we are supposed to get the new part for our treadmil and I should be able to get it put back together and start walking again on it. Hopefully the snow will melt soon and we can walk outside every night for an hour.
KOMATSU CAB DETAIL- I decided to work on the cab today and detail the inside and put the windows in it and get the roof on it. That way Mon. I can do the final assembly of the Monster Dozer.
TEREX TITAN – I am very excited to build this big truck model . This truck held the record for the worlds largest truck for many years. So to build it will be another unique all steel one of a kind model. I had two different collectors that wanted me to build them this truck. Two different mining companies owned it and painted it different colors. Both collectors wanted it in a different color , but I still only wanted to build one of them. So one of the collectors said he understood and he decided on another cool monster truck that is also very unique.
TWENTY -TWO INCHES OF SNOW – Since Deb and I got back from D.C. 10 days ago , we have got 22 inches of snow. We got two more inches last night. The weatherman is saying we might get a couple more inches and then it should be done and spring should arrive next week. OH YEA !!!!!
