Todays picture shows Nicole and Bill getting one last relaxing day of shoveling snow together . They like coming home for the holidays and remembering old fashioned winters with fresh snow every other day . Out of the 14 days they were here it snowed 12 of those days at least one inch. I think they are not going to miss this when they get home. Only 5 days of sun the whole month of Dec. is rough , Deb and I don’t care if it snows and if it is bittter cold but this no sun for several weeks is pretty depressing some times.
Heading downstate – Were still trying to get one nice day to make the four hour round trip to take my folks their Christmas Presents. I only drive 72 on the expressway and those dipsticks about run me over on dry roads. So we stay off the roads unless it is sunny and dry. Over 100 accidents in the last three weeks is a good reason to hold off . Bushnell , Florida – Were planning a trip to Bushnell, Florida this winter to scout out a place to stay next winter. My mom really struggles with this cold and ice and if things work out next winter we can take her with us. Were not sure how long we would stay but a few weeks would be a nice break. We have good friends down there that would take very good care of mom if we did come back.
We had a great time with the kids and we sure enjoyed Terak and all the funny things he is doing and saying.
