Today’s picture shows the new rounded edge I added to the bucket . This helps stop digging up the ground when I get off the pavement when plowing snow. This is my snow bucket only. so I will always leave it on now. I took a piece of 2″ conduit and I used my Lincoln Plasma Cutter to make two cuts the full length of the tubing. I made the cuts about 1/2 inch apart. After welding the top edge I flipped the bucket over and tightened down several clamps to close the gap and i welded the bottom edge . For my little amount of plowing at my neighbors and my house it will be perfect. I used the Waldon now two days with the cab and I love it. I do not miss the cold wind blowing on me. I actually have to keep the door open a inch or two to keep the windows from fogging up but that is just fine.
More SNOW on it’s Way – Another snow system is heading East and we should get a few more inches and that is all GOOD !! (:>)
Rear box Scraper- I used the converted 59 inch snowblower today for the first time as a rear mounted box scraper and I love it too. It adds a few hundred lbs of rear weight to my half scale jd 4020 and it pulls snow away from fences and doors just great.
Are you ready for some Football !!! Now the football season is starting to get good and it is fun to watch . Regardless who wins i love watching a close scoring aggressive game.
This Thanksgiving I am very thankful to be here. As I get older more and more people I know are passing away. Some of them are healthy and some not so healthy. At my age i know how fast time is going and I do not take a single day for granted. I still thank God every day for keeping Deb and I both safe .
Have a great Sunday
