Fourth of July- Yesterday Deb and I took the first day off this summer to enjoy just us. It has been a exhausting 8 weeks helping my folks.
It was a beautiful day at the Locks watching the boats going through . We have camped at the Locks for 30 years and this was the first time we did not so we could help my folks. We came back from the farm early and made the drive up . We stopped at Mackinaw City on the way home and enjoyed a Mackinaw Pasty , that was yummy !! No rain for Gaylord , it has been so hot and dry everyones lawns are fried and brown. We are lucky so far there has been no forest fires.
