O&K Terex RH-400 Mining Shovel Cab- Todays picture shows me holding the just welded together cab walls and cab floor after cutting out the door and window openings. The roof will be next to build as it has a overhang on the right side of it that covers the walkway.
SHEET METAL SHEARED YESTERDAY – My sheet metal order came in yesterday so after lunch I headed to Gaylord Machine and Fabrication and Jimmy helped me shear it up into about 175 strips of steel. I always enjoy going to get steel and look forward to unloading it in my shop knowing I will be able to make more fun, interesting models with it.
Milwaukee Nibbler Parts Arrived- Last week my Electric sheet metal nibblers broke. I never realized how many times a day I use them , but I sure felt lost without them for a week. Lucky I had some Milwaukee Shears and the plasma cutter to cut metal with and I kept working using them. Yesterday the parts came and I put it back together and was back in business .
After 9 years of use, I thought I better buy a new pair of Nibblers too for backup. So they arrived yesterday too so now I am all set in case they ever break again.
TRACK CHAIN – I got the call yesterday for the 25 feet of crawler chain saying it would be another week beofore it will be delivered.
The boat from China had some problems and was packed full of Hummers or something , , ha,ha.
MORNING WALK – Deb and I didn’t have to have our hoods up this morning walking at 6:00am , no wind and no rain and no frost, yippee .
SECOND TIME MOWING THE LAWN- It is unbelievable I have only mowed my lawn two times so far. It has just been so cold. I put down grass seed a few weeks ago and I think it all froze.
DEB’S LAST FULL WEEK – Deb has two more days of five day work weeks , then next week she goes to summer hours and just works Tues. and Wed. , plus she has two full weeks off this summer too. So she is counting the days of sleeping in and me waiting on her all summer , LOL
Have a Great Wed. !!
