Terex RH-400 Shovel Parts- Todays picture shows me just finishing up assembling the four track pullies. Also this photo shows the four track frame rails bent and drilled . Next I am working on the lower track bogie wheels.
CAMPING FUN – Deb and I are talking today about the fun we had over the weekend camping at the Traverse City State Park on Friday night and then camping at the Silver Lake Sand dunes State Park Sat. night. We also rented a Jeep and climbed the sand dunes with it, it was great fun. We still have cabin fever anxiety and feel compelled not to sit home , ha,ha.
$3.00 a gallon gas – We figure by next weekend the gas in Gaylord for unleaded regular should hit $3.00 a gallon. That should slow a few people down again and hurt the economy even more.
Union run Auto Industry- It’s mind boggling to think the Unions will now actually run and make all the decisions and own large portions of the auto industry in this country. I just don’t see how that can work ?
Many Michigan people hate the unions and now say they will for sure never buy another vehicle from the big three .
Most of the auto workers being laid off will still recieve 80% of their wages for sitting at home. Sad to say these kinds of perks union shops have will never be able to compete profitably against overseas wages of $1.00 per hour or less. Our auto industry is now doomed for sure . Very Sad.
The Good News – Winter is over and we all got a great summer to look forward too. (:>). Deb and I have now had three great weekend getaways so far and it has been great!!
