THURS. 1:00 AFTERNOON MINING ACCIDENT UPDATE: It’s looking very bad as the last two explosive charges filled the complete area back in that John and his fellow workers have worked at the last couple days.

For safety reasons the workers felt it was neccesary to blast the high wall as it looked very unstable for the workers below. Doing that they filled in the hole almost to the point it was the day it happened. Now they are about back to square one. It is very sad , they commented and said they do not know if the cabs on the machines were crushed during the cave in or not .
