Toy Trucks- Today I thought I would post a picture of one of the first toy trucks I made. I used a cab off a toy dumptruck and hand built the frame , fuel tanks , mirrors, exhaust fifth wheel etc. Then I hand built the low boy trailer with folding ramps. I actually built a few different trucks using this style cab. They were fun projects to build. Then I just had to put a load on it so I welded up a front blade and lift cylinders for this Cat Tractor . I think back at how excited I was even building this model and feel very fortunate to have such a fun hobby.
RUNNERS WORLD – This morning I was up and running in the light cold rain , it is not as easy running with three shirts on and long heavy pants. Compared to the very light running shorts and shirts I have trained with for several weeks. Although I continue not to lose weight , I know I am thinning down. Now I can reach for almost any shirt in the closet and that feels great.
HEY DEB !! WHAT’S FOR SUPPER ?- Tonight we are having roast beef on bread covered with gravy, sweet corn and garlic mashed potatos . for dessert we are having carmelized bananas with pecans , yummy !. Maybe this is why I am not losing weight, ha,ha.
SNOW IN THE FORECAST- We been lucky so far but it sounds like we may see our first snow this weekend in Northern Michigan.
RIMPULL COAL HAULER PROGRESS- I am finishing up the last parts this afternoon and will have the front roughed in by tonight. Tomorrow I will get started on the first bottom dump trailer.
