Today’s picture shows a Cushman Trackster machine from the 70’s and 80’s.
I always wanted to build a tracked project. Last summer I called on buying one of these machines to buy. I was going to use the track system to build a machine with my own ideas. I called back 4 days later to go buy it but the fellow said he just sold it. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for an older running track vehicle for a new project.
Blizzard Conditions
30 to 40 mph winds today and loose snow blowing across the roads is a perfect recipe for whiteout conditions. These are also perfect conditions for multi-car pile-ups.
We are getting peaks of the sun today and that is all good.
Workshop
Yesterday I got the second blade extension parts all cut out and today I will get everything welded. Just 10 inches wider will make it perfect for plowing the snow out past the duel wheels. The extensions just bolt-on so they can be removed.
Snow in the forecast this weekend so I may get to try out the new improved blade.
