Train model Right Side doors and railings

rightsideconstruction, originally uploaded by Don Campbell Models.

Right side train – Todays picture shows me making progress on the right side of the train. I now have the right side doors cut out and attached and the top screens . bolted in place. You can see me holding a section of side safety railing. Once I get the railings done I will start working on the air tank and fuel tank for this side.
I still never got any pictures from anyone of the cab interior of a GP-40 or 38 or 35. Anyone that has these pictures could you e-mail me?
Detroit Lions WIN !!!!!!!!!!!! Green Bay Packers lose , GRRRR
Even with just 20 seconds left on the play clock we still believed the Lions would lose , they have broken so many records lately we just could not believe they beat the Packers, boo, hoo . Deb and I are Packer fans. (:>)
12 inches of snow for Gaylord – We ended up getting 12 inches of snow after getting another 6 inches this morning . Temps this morning were one degree and the John Deere cab felt great blowing snow . But I did try to start both Waldon Loaders and neither of them would start , but once I jumped them they both fired right up sitting outside. I spent a hour in the back yard working on the snowcross track, ha,ha.
Homeade Cinnamon Rolls- Deb made a batch of sticky buns this afternoon, yum !!
Chrisrmas Day baby ??- Well the clock is winding down to Nicole’s baby boy’s birth and Christmas Day. Nicole said she is tired of being pregnant and wants to get this overwith now, ha,ha. She is used to being in control and baby Terak is making the decisions these days and it is a little frustrating at times for Nicole . Nicole is very organized and always had a daily schedule . So she will be glad once Terak is born and she can get back to her old ways ? OK ?
Deb and I laugh and say it will work out and she will make the adjustments just fine once she gets past the (baby blues) week.
Northern Michigan Snowmobile Trails – We looked at the trails and they are getting better but the winds whipped the snow all around and some areas were blown clean to the ice below.
Our area Sylvans Ski Resort is opening a week early so they will be ready to go for the Christmas /New Years Holiday .
Have a great Monday !!
