Here is a picture of me checking out the truck model . You can see in this picture the cab is roughed in . You can see I started on the first short nose of the engine hood. Sitting in place on the cab roof is the air conditioner unit and a light bar with 13 lights. The duel exhaust pipes are made with the safety grating over them. You can see the two pipes going from the bottom of the pipes under the cab. The cab step is also built. This picture also shows two of the 6 mirrors that are on the real truck. Behind the cab I have begun building the roll bar with six lights attached to it. You can see a little bit of the part I am now working on , the rear winch assembly. The truck model is starting to get a little personality and I am liking it very much. Next week I will build the second section of the engine cover and radiator grill. The engines and radiator will also get built next week. The rear bed gets quite a bit of detail yet too with three frames to hold the rear weights and several hooks for chains to hold them in place. If all goes well, next Fri. it could be completed and ready for sanding and primer.
PLOWED SNOW YESTERDAY – Well, the snowplowing got started off good considering I got to plow the first day of Feb. The weathrman is saying 6 inches of snow for us this afternoon and tonight so I could be plowing a second time tomorrow.
KOMATSU 575A SUPERDOZER MODEL- This awesome dozer is my next project to start the week of Feb. 12th . I love that machine as some of you remember I got to see two of them in person and climb on them and I got to see one of them in action. So this will also be a cool model to see come to life my workbench.
SKI-DOO RIDING – With the cold temps in the single digits the last week , I have opted to leave the Ski-Doo in the shed , I’m waiting for a nice sunny day with 25 degrees, ha,ha. They say the coldest air should arrive tomorrow with below zero temps.
