Spring Snowstorm – Much of our snow melted last week and we though the worst of winter weather was over. But it looks like we got lucky and we are getting a 10 to 12 inch snowstrom starting tonight .
We have only recieved 103 inches of snow so far this winter as we are 40 inches below a normal winter. So this should help a little bit.
The good thing is the days are getting longer and it stays light longer in the evenings and that alone makes things much better .
This probably won’t be the last snow for us as we always get snow in April . Winter is dragging on but a snowstorm perks me right up knowing I get to play in the snow and i will have to fire up the Ski-doo one more time and go for a nice ride.
Deb made some homeade bread yesterday and that tends to make me happy , ha,ha. Also we got a bucket of delicious greasy KFC Chicken , yum !
Diet Rollercoaster- My frame of mind is determined by the weather and if we get nice days I want to eat good and exercise and when it gets cold and cloudy I want to eat goodies. In other words my dieting has been a disaster so far this spring. But I know when the weather breaks for good I will get going again to lose my winter weight gain.
We pulled Deb’s Cadillac out of storage and put it in the front garage so that is a sure sign of spring too . (:>). It gets 30 mpg so even with higher gas prices it is economical to drive around town.
I will put the truck in the back shed and drive the Fusion now most of the time trying to offset the high gas prices. The truck is a gas guzzler but very handy around town for winter driving . The Fusion get 32 miles per gallon so that is good too. My 1996 GMC Z-71 truck just rolled over 30,000 one owner miles . It’s still a good old truck .
Cat Dozer Progress-I made the first 10 links of track chain and I made more track pad parts and got another 25 cut out and bent but not drilled or knotched or no grousers attached.
Today I am taking a break from that and going to design the first parts for the undercarriage .
