Home Made Cabs- I’m the first one to admit that home made tractor cabs don’t look like factory cabs. But then they don’y cost several thousand dollars either, ha,ha. Todays picture shows the almost finished cab. I am waiting for the other $9.99 mirror for the right side . I also may need a antenna for it even though it has no radio, ha,ha. I always liked plenty of lights, chrome mirrors, strobe lights, and a big chrome exhaust stack (:>)
I think the cab made the little loader look much different in a good way. Almost looks like a real mini loader now. I left four openings for air circulation so the windows won’t fog up. Later on if I mount a snowblower on front it will need a heater .
48 inch snowblower conversion – Today I am on day two of converting the 48 inch 2 stage snowblower on my jd 455 diesel tractor. I have the frame bracket modified now and the driveshaft all lined up. Now i am building the mounting bracket for the lift cylinder. I also have a brand new hydraulic motor that has been sitting for over 20 years on the shelf. It is small and should work perfect to run the snowblower chute back and forth.
Fall Cleanup – I had my leaves all done and after a few windy days the neighbors leaves blew in my yard so i am going to vacuum them up this afternoon and go dump them back in their yard, LOL just kidding !! I actually enjoy fall leave cleanup.
