Waldon fix it project for today

Used Loaders – Todays picture shows my used and abused old mini loader parked next to the workshop door. I bought it a few years ago to cut up to use the axles and drive train for a mini 4×4 tractor. So I did not pay much for it , But with everything still working it was hard to cut up.
Yet it isn’t good enough for real work anymore either. It is very slow and it doesn’t have much power so it is pretty much just a toy for my yard playing in the snow. But it did give me hours and hours of enjoyment sanding it and repainting it and building the cab for it. Not to mention all the times I played in the snow with it . It isn’t worth much , probably worth more to someone as a forklift with the front forks. It does lift a lot of weight with those forks.
It has a cracked manifold since I got it and today I am going to insert a steel plug in the crack and attach it to the bolt outside to keep it in place. The bolts will surely snap off if I try to remove them . So just a so, so quick fixer upper project to close the opening and quiet it down.
Lincoln Plasma Cutter Failure- Yesterday my little Lincoln Pro-Cut 25 Plasma cutter stopped working . All of the sudden the arc stopped and the air kept blowing out. Usually once the arc stops the air automatically shuts off in a few seconds. But now the air stays on all the time and no arc is working. So I will have to run it over to the store and see if they got a idea and sell the possible repair part it needs. The little plasma cutter has worked flawlessly for 15 years so it is due for a breakdown I guess.
