Here is a picture Darrell also sent me of him standing by the brand new L-1850 Monster Loader. This picture was taken last week as he got ready to train new operators on the new machine. Thanks again Darrell for the cool pics. It’s looking good for Deb and I to get to climb in one even bigger than this one . As many of you know , there is only one larger size than this and there are only two of them in the world. They have a optional coal bucket that holds 85 WOPPING YARDS !! and a rock bucket that holds 53 yards. We almost met up with Darrell this summer to see two brand new L-1850’s , but we missed getting to do it by one week. This time it is looking like a 99.9% chance we will get to see a real L-2350 in person . Oh Yea !!! It will be a fun new adventure for Deb and I .
Gaylord Weather- Our deep snow has turned to wet sloppy snow with two days of rain . The snowmobile trail looks terrible. The forecast is 40 degree temps for the next several days.
Cat D-9G Dozer – I finished up the blade and after lunch I will get going on the body work. By tonight it should be ready for primer.
Acco Monster Grader- I have the design ready to go for this cool Italian grader. I have the 12 tires and wheels set aside that I will use to build it. The tread pattern is not the same , but I have not found any tires to match the real ones. So i am going to use what I have and be happy with that. Tires are my biggest obsticle , sometimes I just have to compromise with other styles of tires.
